We made great progress in Iraq today

Fifteen kids are dead today. Parents and loved ones awaiting their safe return can now hug photographs, or replay voice messages, or re-read letters hundreds of times.

We made great progress today, for the desperate enemy shot down and killed fifteen kids. How desperate they must be to shoot a helicopter out of the sky. Their fear must be reaching critical mass now, as they kill at will, unfindable, unstoppable, and with a limitless supply of converts to the cause.

Great progress, too, was made today in Texas, where the architect of the slaughter sobered up enough to clean some brush, count some money, and pretend to care. Perhaps he will find his way to a funeral home, or perhaps his focus group cabal will spoon feed him empty words of sorrow to mouth in between bites of free range cattle, specially prepared to the Kings liking.

Great progress will be made tomorrow, or the day after, when dead bodies draped in the red, white and blood of this nation slip quietly into unknown air bases. Wooden boxes holding those who thought they fought for truth will now rest forever in graveyards covered in the stench of the mightiest of all lies.

Over time, great progress will be made by those families whose sons and daughters and husbands and wives now sit in spirit at the empty chair. Happy holidays to all, as you weep for our great progress. Think now of the King and his court, cowards all. Think of his henchmen on radio everywhere, cowards all. They will remind you of this great progress, to be sure, from their perch of comfort. May you damn them all to eternal hell.

Yes, great progress is being made in Iraq today. May we never see such progress again.

While I normally dont condone violence, the Iraqi's are legally fighting an illegal invasion. We have no legitimate reason for being there.

My boy's in the fray, we all know who the enemy is. It is incredibally difficult to abide in this state of affairs. I will be ok in a few more minutes. It's going to be a triple Xanex morning, I can tell.

The kids not my biological son. I spent years trying to undo the damage done to him by an alcholic, abusive father. Only having him on the weekends I didn't know that he was being preyed apon by a very savvy recruiter untill it was to late. Signed him up at 17, his bio father thought it was a great idea. I had no say.

only they come home in silver metal boxes in the middle of the night away from public eyes. Afterwards they roll and carry the wounded from the same plane, again in the dead of night, so we don't even know if the coffins are draped with flags.
