How to tell if a BFEE member is lying.

Here's a list of ways to "spot a liar" from Dr. Phil. He said on his show yesterday that it is about 80% accurate and I have been watching the BFEE liars carefully lately and seen many of these signs, especially the nose-touching (#4). And, there is one person who hesitates (#6) and shrugs his shoulders a LOT (#13).

1) Too much or too little eye contact: Liars tend to avoid looking people in the eye, but if they are staring you down, they may be working hard at lying.

2) Over-emphasizes details: When people are trying to avoid telling the truth, they often pick some obscure point and talk about it a lot instead of focusing on the key issue.

5) Mouth pursed: When people tell a lie, they can't get enough oxygen, so they tend to breathe through their mouth instead of through their nose.

6) Speech hesitations: Pausing, throat clearing, or other stalling techniques.

2. LOL Well, we all know that but

I was thinking that it would be good to give this to any friends or family who might not get it.

And, actually, in defense of our fearless leader George W. Bush, I do not believe he is lying when is says he talks about tax cuts or eating. :-)

that he lies about what they will do and why he wants them.

3. More body language on lying

They tend to pull their earlobe, or touch their face a lot, such as their eyelids, maybe adjust their necktie. All sorts of subtle gestures, which people are attuned to if they will just pay attention to the cues. That's why we say, "Dammit, I know bush is lying but I can't prove it."

When he's lying. It's only when he's talking about revenge, retribution, violence & killing that the words flow easilly.

5. My 7-year-old noted how Bush blinks a lot

It was during the Cincinnati address when he was bu**sh**ing about smoking guns and mushroom clouds.

They are so HARD to fool. And yours is dead on about the blinking. Watch CONdi Rice sometime; the "woman's" eyes look like a telegraph key!
