Nightmare? Cynthia McKinney vs Dean vs Bush |
|
Dean's pandering to the Confederate flag/NRA crowd exposes the Democratic party to a stronger threat from the left than even Nadir. Beyond the serious questions of whether a Dean lead Democratic party would stand up for black concerns, it's ironic that McKinney even paid the most price for early on virgorously opposing Chimpy. Dean's antiwar stance sure was bought on the cheap compared to hers.

1. The Dean campaign is in this to *win*, not to simply make a statement |
|
and go down like the Hindenburg and McKinney.
That said, I thought McKinney was pretty close to the truth and I admired that, but unfortunately she was politically inept.

Cynthia McKinney did not pay a price for opposing Bush. McKinney made an absurd charge (Bush allowed 9/11 to happen so his friends could profit) that she couldn't back up. She deserved to lose her seat for sheer stupidity.
