Jamie Rubin says, it's not an issue that lends itself to quick sound bites
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/politics/DailyNews/fieldclark_feature.html Read down a bit.

This was in an earlier post from DoveTurned Hawk.

Jamie Rubin will be working with the Clark campaign, at least part time. When asked about the General's position regarding the Iraq war, it took him at least four minutes to describe it. Then he said the above quote.

Personally, I like that approach. It goes with some of the rest of the General's approach to George's prediliction for gunslinger like sound bites. I think the American people can "handle the truth", unlike Jack Nicholson in "A Few Good Men". Maybe we need to start marginalizing the sound bite.

All of the Democratic candidates are articulate speakers with good ideas. The current administration rules by sound bite. Perhaps this needs to be pointed out quite clearly, to the American people.
