PREDICTION: Governor's races in Louisiana,Kentucky, Mississippi
Kentucky: Rep. Ernie Fletcher beats Democrat Ben Chandler (53-46)

Mississippi: Governor Ronnie Musgrove defeats Haley Barbour (50-49)

Novemeber 15
Louisiana: Kathleen Blanco beats Bobby Jindal in an upset (51-49)

Democrats win two out of three of these races. Democrats pick up the governorship in Louisiana and Republicans pick up the governorship in Kentucky

1. Democrats turn out more in presidential elections than off-year elections
And Repubs turn out more for off-year and special elections. If they turn out huge for these elections, it will indicate that they are enthused about George W Bush's leadership, in my opinion, and will most likely turn out in huge numbers next year. Democrats are apathetic.
