I'm in California and want to vote for DEAN in the DEM primary.
How would I go about switching from an indy to DEM?
Do I re-register.

7. NSMA Has You Covered. Go to Your Post Office.
And while you are there, pick up some extra forms and give them to like-minded friends.

3. Check with your local Board of Elections
I'm in New York and had to re-register to vote as a Dem.

4. Yes. You must re-register
ask anyoone you know who works for Dean. We carry the forms with us practically everywhere.

Go to a Weds nite Meetup; you can do it there.

8. same here, Indy wants to vote in primaries for Dean.
For me, someone at the Dean meetup told me he had the paperwork with him (big Dem). You could ask at a Dean meetup.
