Zinn Speaks in L.A.

About 1,400 were on hand to hear Howard Zinn speak tonight at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church at 7 PM.



The youthful crowd was mostly familiar with Zinn as the author of the world's best-selling history book, A People's History of the United States but Zinn regaled attendees with not only excerpts from the book but anecdote after anecdote drawn from a life devoted to righting social wrongs.

Zinn spoke for nearly 1-1/2 hours and though the turf was familiar to many it was a moving experience.

2. I know it was video- and audio-recorded
