Senate to approve 87.5B without roll call vote |
|
In other words the ayes will "have it" without any particular senator having to own up to his/her vote. This is total bullshit. These bunch of pansyshits should be responsible for thier votes. AMERICA DESERVES BETTER. Truly shameful.

9. The only "good" thing about this secret vote |
|
Is that these pricks don't want their names attached to the Quagmire anymore.
Heh heh heh.
Coming back to bite these moronic chickenshits in the ass. Not a moment too soon.
They should all be tossed out on their fat butts for authorizing Smirk to invade Iraq (except the valiant few who fought it and VOTED AGAINST IT)

10. This really does smack of the Roman Senate |
|
and the way it rubber-stamped the Emperor's wishes. I am afraid we have "crossed the Rubicon", here, kids. If you had any doubts that we are now a full-fledged empire, here is the image to convince you. Hail Ceasar! What a thing to live to see...the end of the Republic. It slaps us in the face every day and tomorrow it will grind us under foot.

there will be hell to pay for all this.
Hell to pay, everyone knows it, and no one is willing to foot the bill when it comes due.
We should be afraid I think.

18. Doesn't it only take a single Senator to call for a roll call? |
|
I don't know how it works in the Senate, but the way Robert's Rules has been implemented everywhere I've actually used it is that all it takes is a single person eligible to vote to say, "Roll Call!", and you get a roll call vote.
It seems that even the ones who might be against it are being complicit in covering for the rest.
