Ah... check the detailed rankings -- those numbers above are the three-month average. Here is the DAILY ranking from yesterday (you need to check the detailed numbers)

Clark: 9,027
Dean: 9,707

10. The chart you showed is a trendline chart.

It doesn't have absolute number of hits, just the relative ranking. It seems rather obvious from looking at the Y axis of that chart what's going on. When you know how to drill down on Alexa, Clark finished in about 5900th place yesterday; Dean at 7200th place: Clark beat Dean.

Hits, 'pruner' -- there's a rude connection there, but why bother making it.
