5. I'm afraid I agree, DUReader, Busheviks "win" Louisiana by 7%
Of this I am 100% certain.

100%.

Here's hoping I am proven wrong, something which hasn't happened much since the Bloodless Coup of 2000.

There's something wrong with that alone. I never scored higher than 60% being right during the Days of the Old Republic.

but that's the thing about Totalitarianism. Once you recognize it for what ot is, it's as predicatble as, well, a Soviet, Iraqi or Syrian "election".

So now I'm on record. Busheviks "win" by 7%. It's in the bag, if the 42%-42% is true.

Got a link?

6. Not necessarily voting machine conspiracies
If Florida 2000 teaches us anything, there is a wide variety of "manual disenfranchisement" strategies available to the Busheviks.

From purposefully stacking minority/Democratic counties with error-prone machines to disinformation tactics "make sure all your parking tickets and rent are paid before you vote" to phony felon purges to...you get the idea.

20. Vote suppression techniques
is the term. And yeah, there are bundles of them. You can get quite creative, actually -- like the parking ticket flyers.

13. Who can tell, carlos? The Soviet dilemna...
When surrounded by untrustwirthy lies substituting for reality, even the truth, when it sneaks out, must be viewed skeptically given the lying reality in which it swims.

Check back Wednesday to see how my predictions turned out.

I will lose no sleep on it. I am 100% certain, like in a Saddam "election".

(though I would be thrilled to be wrong and it will be the most delicious plate of crow I ever ate, seasoned as it is with renewed hope and perhaps trust in American Voting Systems)

12. Then Barbour wins
Bank on it.

Check back tomorrow to see if my assertions are accurate. I am 100% certain of it.

14. If that is accurate then the Dem candidate will win
A few of the 42% for Jindal will vote Democratic due to race. We've seen inflated poll numbers for non-whites in each race where a non-white runs for statewide office. If Jindal doesn't have a at least a 5% lead in the polls he is toast.

15. Ray Nagin
the Democrat Mayor of New Orleans endorsed Jindal today. That might be enough to tip the scales in Jindal's favor. Or at least make it close enough for him to steal it. I'm so mad I could spit.

Edited on Tue Nov-04-03 01:11 AM by robsul82
...it may be because I'm in New Orleans at Loyola, but it seems like Blanco will get it done.

By the way, clicking on that poll? The recent one says Jindal's eight points up. WTF?

Later.

18.  I hope you're right
I'm getting very nervous about this one. I think Blanco has the cajun vote and white Dem vote just about sewn up. But now that Nagin has endorsed Jindal, I wonder how much of the black vote Blanco will lose. She didn't exactly court the black vote in the primary.

19. Ahhh...
...Nagin's kinda jerky and his endorsement in the Democratic primary sure didn't help.

Later.
