The Rise of Fascism in America...
Edited on Tue Nov-04-03 01:02 AM by TruthIsAll
Nixon/Agnew 1968 - Silent Majority/Secret Plan to end Vietnam war
Nixon/Agnew 1972 - Watergate
Reagan/Bush 1980 - October Surprise
Reagan/Bush 1984 - Iran/Contra
Bush/Quayle 1988 - Willie Horton/S&L/Silverado

Bush/Cheney 2000:
K. Harris/Jeb Bush: 55,000 innocent blacks disenfranchised;
Palm Beach: LePore's Butterfly ballot- 10,000 Gore votes to Buchanan;
Dade Cty: Tom DeLay Repuke riot stopped the recount;
Volusia Cty: Diebold- 16,022 Gore votes dropped;
Duval Cty: 28,000 Gore votes spoiled/double punched;
Scotus: votes 5-4 to stop the recount and select Bush.

Senate 2002:
VNS Exit polling dropped at last minute;
Diebold Rob-Georgia, CO, NH, TX, MN (all Repuke last-minute "upsets"); Zogby can't explain it. But now we know. His polls were right; the Dems voted, but the Repukes counted.

For our next feature attraction:
Bush 2004 - Diebold (go massive); politicize the 9-11/Iraq/Trifecta Bush failures as successes of "this very popular war president".

Are you sick yet?

3. The end of the fairness doctrine
under Reagan served them well. Let the indoctrination begin!

6. The Butterfly ballot was our blunder.
When we blame the opposition for our own blunders, we lose the ability to learn from those mistakes. The butterfly ballot that gave all those votes to B was designed and approved by Democrats completely. Not one single Rep was involved in that. That's not defending Bush v.2, there is plenty of other stuff to attack him with. But let's own up to our own mistakes when they happen. If we don't, we will make them again, or others very similiar to them.

8. You call LePore a Dem? She is a Repuke mole who was originally hired
and worked for Repukes. She refused to allow independent testing of the Touch screen voting machines before the 2002 elections; she still won't allow it. She, like many election officials, pretend to be Democrats, but they know who their true bosses are.

Check out her twin, Cathy Cox (Dem) in Georgia. She'll do anything to get those Diebold, paperless machines in. Some Democrat.

9. I used to think that too
Now I'm not so sure. Bad ballot design is a classic vote suppression technique.

And Theresa LePore wasn't all that much of a Democrat. She'd switched parties to run for that office.

She is also an "ex-girlfriend" of Adnan Kashoggi.

Yeah, these days I'm not at all sure one way or the other.

do their electoral math without California included.

11. The Rise of Fascism in America...?????
You wrote: "For our next feature attraction: Bush 2004 etc., etc."
I don't get it. You're giving up? It's a done deal because of a conspiracy? No, I'm sorry, I don't agree. Let's do what we can to make certain that as many Americans as po\sible are registered to vote, and then let's try to make certain that they DO vote. As best we can.
