Election Day in Seattle tmrw......
Everybody go out and vote tomorrow please!


Here is what and who I am voting for.

4206 Vacant elected office laws........YES

SEATTLE CITY COUNCIL

Position 1......Nicastro

Position 5......Rassmussen
Position 7......Wills
Position 9......JP Patches (Seattle TV's legendary clown!)

SEATTLE INITIATIVES

No. 1 To improve Fire and Emergency Service facilaties...YES
No. 5 Dividing the City Council into neighborhood districts..YES

SEATTLE MONORAIL AUTHORITY

Position 8......Egan
Position 9......Stockmeyer


There it is in a nutshell. Would love to hear who and how people will be voting.

2. ...and, if you live in the suburbs (specifically Maple Valley)...
Vote Derdowski (D) for King County Council District 12.

And, for Maple Valley City Council Position 2, where Chuck Hardaway is running unopposed, please join me in casting a write-in vote for Donald Duck (NP), who is far more rational and less of a cartoon character than Hardaway.

3. I just voted!
Interested to find out how people voted. I was approached by somebody that was for the Jean Godden for City Council campaign downtown earlier today. All I could say is that I liked her column and that's it. I voted for Nicastro.


I have some distrust in Godden. It seems like she is there to be a "yes" person for Mayor Nickles and his quest for chasing the working class out of South Lake Union. Forget that!
