The best definition of Stupidity |
|
that I ever heard was, "to keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result."
Using that definition, what is the stupidest thing that we (liberals, progressives, Democrats) are doing that may cost us an election (not jsut the Presidential one), or has cost us elections? If there is a solution to said problem, what is it?
Your comments are appreciated.

1. Definitely the concept that we need to ... |
|
court left leaning Republicans for their swing votes when there's a huge, GIGANTIC number of people out there who don't vote because there's no one speaking for them or inspring them enough to get them to vote. Click Here To See Fair & Balanced Buttons, Stickers & Magnets

2. Actually I believe that was the definition of insanity not stupidity |
|
However it still holds true that if we do the same thing over and over and hope for a different result we can't be too bright either. DLC is a fine example of that.

7. I've heard it both ways, |
|
but the crazy people I've met (and there have been a few that were truly insane) didn't actually expect much in the way of results.

for the Dem candidates to unite and stop backbiting and mud-slinging. Let them speak with a strong, united voice about their vision for America. (Their choices will also affect the rest of the world, so - the rest of us would like to see a strong leader emerge.) It seems to me (from the outsider's perspective) that the Dems are all over the map, without any coherent policies, picking each other apart, and contradicting each other (and themselves at times).
They would do better to waste less time slamming the Repugs (they are doing a good job of hanging themselves) and more time outlining their vision for America and improved foreign policy.
That's my $0.02!

however, they can't, or won't, unite until there is a prospective nominee.

5. We need to quit insisting that everyone |
|
agree totally on every single issue, or they're not "with us"! That's one of the reasons why we've never made the headway we should be making.
