I read recently that the administration would not be providing statistics on the number of U.S. soldiers in Iraq who were/are injured. I suppose that we also don't hear if any of the injured subsequently die, either (e.g., in hospital). Is there a precedent for hiding this sort of information from the American public? I find it outrageous. Seems that the information must be available SOMEwhere...

I don't think it is necessary, but apparently they think that releasing complete casualties might erode support for the Crusade.

is that emergency outpost hospitals havent been up this long since Vietnam...
they are overflowing...
additional injured are redirected to Germany or sent home...
overly injured are discharged and thus removed from the injured list.

just look at the Texas Miracle. The state school system turned out to be a joke and a total scam. Somehow the number of drop-outs just disappeared from the lists so it looked like less kids were dropping out when that wasn't the case. (In some cases in a school of thousands they would have ONE listed drop out... yeah right)
