More crap from Neal Boortz
This is the same Neal Boortz who a few months ago wrote some articles talking about how cruel the people over here at the DU forums are. Well today in Neal's blog, (www.boortz.com if you really feel like it)in his "Reading Assignemnts" section, he mocks a 20 year old girl who died in a car accident while she was talking on a cell phone. Real classy Neal.

Think about it, a 20 year old girl whose only mistake was that she got into a car accident while talking on a cell phone. Granted I am not a cell phone fan, but think about that girl's family and friends. Gosh what is wrong with some of these Conservative @-holes.

2. Libertarian = Conservative to me
Just likr Green = Liberal. Boortz loves to hound Democrats, and jumped all over this site because a few people here weren't so "nice".

I just get mad when a 20-year old dies and then gets mocked. I lost a friend in her early 20's a few years back. It hits home for me.

3. Libertarian != Conservative
The assumption that Libertarians are Conservatives is for people too lazy to realize there are more than two positions on issues.

4. I know there are more than two positions
If you listen to Neal, he is more committed to helping out Bush and the Republicans right now than anything. Neal and most Libertarians though are social Liberals, and fiscally Conservative, and Ultra-Conservative when it comes to reduced government.

5. In the Liberal-Conservative axis, Libertarians fall on the Conservative

8. Precisely the problem
The political spectrum is not a single axis. At the least, it should be viewed as a two axis system, or most accurately with six.

11. I'm sorry for that
I didn't mean to belittle your feelings. I always point out that he is a libertarian, I think we should know our enemies and what they think.

He's always been tough on driving and doing anything, especially talking on cell phones. You should hear him opine on teenage drivers. Yikes.

I also think it was the irony of crashing into a cell phone store while you talk on a cell phone. People who talk about death like that are usually scared of it.

12. Boortz is a BushBot - no libertarian
Another mouthpiece for the BushBots. Just like Savage, Limbaugh, et al. C'mon. When push comes to shove, the idiot will read Karl Rove's talking points verbatim. He is as much an independent thinker as O'Reilly.

6. Guys like Bortz and Glen Beck
call themselves 'Libertarians' in a weak attempt to set themselves apart from the Hannitys of the world.

Yet they say the same crap as the other GOP asshats on the dial.

These guys lie like you and I breathe. No conscience, no compunction, no remorse.

When they are caght, they merely bully some more and tell another lie.

13. EXACTLY- IT'S A PLOY TO GET "INDEPENDENTS."
Same with "that other guy" Larry Elder or something like that.

And the "independent" Michael Reagan."

It's to lure people who wouldn't be caught dead being thought of as "conservative" into thinking they should get riled up at the pile of stinking flesh served as red meat that only advances the fascist regime.

7. He is a libertarian
He just basically sees the right as not sucking as much as the left.

He's been getting on the idiocy of people using cell phones while driving for ages though so that reaction shouldn't be unexpected...nore is it altogether wrong.

10. and that is how he talks
he gives it out to anyone who he thinks deserves it.

He doesn't follow the libertarian line to a tee, because he supported the Bush war, and I believe libertarians didn't.

He does ream Bush all the time on spending.
