65. What is happening here? Vote tallies going backwards!
About 10 minutes ago the tally was:

Fletcher 232,052
Chandler 225,864

Now it is:

Fletcher 203,353
Chandler 192,815

What is going on here? Anyone have an explanation?

29. KY will not be an indicator of how they might vote next year...
Traditionally, they will not have a huge turnout in this "off-year" election. They do tend to get more excited in presidential years. I would not read too much into the KY numbers...

We must remember
that western KY is Central zone - and polls are open for another 20 minutes - none counted. Many of the counties posted are from traditionally Rep eastern counties. If Chandler can stay "close" in the eastern part of the state, he has a good chance because many of the precincts and counties in the western part have been known to go 10-1 for Dem candidates - which I don't think could be turned completely to Fletcher.

Edited on Tue Nov-04-03 07:39 PM by NewJerseyDem
It looks like the republicans will win:

Governor/Lt. Governor
Secretary of State
Commissioner of Agriculture

Democrats will probably win:

Attorney General
Treasurer
Auditor of Public Acts
