Apparently attacks happen because the freedom hating terrorists who hate freedom and America are getting angry because the war is going so well. The better the war is going for us, the angrier the freedom-hating terrorists get. The angrier the freedom-hating terrorists get, the more attacks occur.

Therefore, saying that the frequency of attacks is up is good news, because it means the war is going well.
