8. The mayor of New Orleans endorsed Jindal
That is going to hurt severely. I don't know if we can win after that. I think Jindal will win in Louisiana. Not a good months for the governors races.

...bank it. No one likes him, and his endorsement of Ewing led to a fourth- or fifth-place finish. Nagin's word means squat in New Orleans.

To explain, Ewing is Randy Ewing, one of about six candidates running hopeless campaigns against Blanco in the primary.
