Colin Quinn
I can't stand this guy. He was just on Tough Crowd claiming that (get this) the fact that there may be al Qaeda operates in Iraq fighting the U.S. now proves a connection between al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein.

1. A suggestion for your mental health
Don't ever watch Colin Quinn. EVER! If you do your brain will rot.

2. Colin Quinn of REMOTE CONTROL
Anyone remember that ridiculous show on MTV?

I think Colin can be funny (I have a soft spot in my heart for all SNLers) but I don't care for his views on the Iraq situation at all. I had the TV on sleep to listen to Jon Stewart and heard him rambling about it, then Scott Thompson from KITH proceeded to tell the actual truth. (Luv ya Buddy: :loveya:)

3. I remember Remote Control
Where the contestants sat in easy chairs and if they lost they got popcorn or something dumped on them. What's that guy's name... Keith Ober, or something hosted. Whatever happened to him? I love Scott Thompson (which, BTW, is Carrot Top's real name, too), but can he try to go 30 seconds without mentioning that he's gay? He's an hilarious guy.

5. Carrot Top's real name is Scott Thompson? That's hilarious
Scott Thompson went for much more than 30 seconds (from what I heard) without mentioning he was gay on Quinn's show, BTW. It might be you not being able to go 30 seconds without remembering he's gay?

He did mention he was Canadian. :loveya:

8. Ken Ober.
Keith Olbermann gets mentioned here a lot and, for some reason, I think of Ken Ober. I guess I watched too much MTV when I was younger.

7. I remember Remote Control too...
... and, in fact, I use it to change the channel every time that unfunny blowhard's show comes on.

:D

Very, very poor placement, right after the National Treasure that is The Daily Show.

9. There is a connection: Saddam gets deposed, & Al Qaeda shows up
It may not be the connection Bushlovers would like to make, but it's there.

Nothing more dangerous than basing foreign policy on half-truths.

11. I always dive
for the "off" button on my remote after The Daily Show. I caught Quinn once . . . tragically unfunny and countless comments similar to the one you mentioned. I can't stand the guy! :grr:

13. you're missing the point-
Colin Quinn is just another butt&bootlicker for the right-
He's(colin quinn) saying that if Alqueda operatives are found in Iraq now, it's proof enough(for colin) to make a connection between them and saddaam in the pre-911 days.(which we all know is total bullshit)
