Any thoughts on this Intelligence memo from the Democrats? |
|
Hannity and Fox News are going apesh*t over this leaked memo that shows some Senate Democrats wanted to wait for the right time to launch an independant investigation into Bush's handling of intelligence leading up to the war and Septemer 11.
Hannity kept trying to stess how disgusted he is, which in turn made me disgusted because I know he is full of it. I am just upset that these idiots now have given a potential opportunity to amke it look like the Republicans are the only ones who really want the truth. Any time the Dems try to raise the issue now over intelligence, Hannity will just resort to bringing up this memo. I don't know how to feel on this. We all know both parties are guilty of political tactics such as this.

unfortunately only exists for Democrats. Since the Repubs do it 100% of the time, no one even reacts to it. Is the memo dated?

...and a little surprising, I guess I've gotten used to the Dem's impotence. Since the reThugs are doing everything in their political power to cover up for their chimp, the Dems should be doing anything in theirs to expose him. The reason that Hannity and his ilk are so up-in-arms about it is that they are allergic to anything at all that seems like it may lead to disclosing some truths about these criminals. They are hoping to sink and bury this effort before it gets started. Attack is the best defense.

I wouldn't put it past the BFEE to write a memo like this and give it to some numb-nuts like Hannity.

5. let me get this straight |

He's not upset that intelligence was manipulated by the chimp. But, he is outraged that Democrats would try to use the fact that the Bush administration lied us into a war, to defeat him in an election? What's wrong with this picture?

6. Politics as usual but with some stupid thrown in |
|
Whoever let this get out should be feeling some real guilt right now. The Democratic party ends up looking stupid and vindictive for a position that might well have worked to help propell a Democrat into the White House. It isn't the end of the world, but it will certainly cause us to have to tread more carefully on this issue.
Political memos should be protected more carefully. It is like letting the enemy have our 'plan of battle'. They know where you will attack and can prepare their defenses. Or in this case go on the offensive against us for planning an attack that we would already have had to deny was politically motivated.

something on Bush and they're waiting for the right time to bring it to the fore. Bob Graham has hinted this on a couple of occassions.
All I can say is "Bring It On."

This is just today's "daily Hate" for Hannity. What will it be tomorrow? There should already be an investigation going on, what is this memo talking about "the right time to launch" one? Who in the media is brave enough to counter Hannity? Phil Donahue. where is Donahue? MSNBC gagged and fired him.
