Latest Consumer Comfort Poll--No "Bump"
According to the latest ABC News/Money magazine poll, the consumer comfort index remains unchanged since the previous poll, which I believe was taken prior to the 7.2% growth PR blitz. It remains at
-18, which is just two points higher than it was a year ago at this time.

1. I just don't see all the hype of a turnaround
for the economy. It may be improving but there are still massive layoffs, unemployment, and lack of consumer confidence. The deficit will have to increase interest rates soon which will affect home sales. Foreign investment is down, I think. The dollar is falling relative to the Euro. It's been a long time since I actually followed this stuff closely so I would be interested in learning from people who do.
