Radical critic Dr. Noam Chomsky called leading figures in the Bush administration (Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz) "a real danger to human survival" in his lecture Tuesday night at Central Connecticut State University's Welte Hall in New Britain, Connecticut. Speaking to a large enthusiastic crowd, the noted MIT language professor and left-wing critic reviewed the past century of British and then American adventurism in the Middle East, and forecast that while the US will increasingly seek to fulfill its energy needs elsewhere, it will remain entrenched in shaping and dominating that tumultuous region's affairs in part for oil profits "beyond the dreams of avarice." Chomsky also urged all Americans to "organize and educate people to resist the attacks on civil liberties" he believes are inherent to Bush's domestic policies.

well he's my idea of radical, and it was my word choice, because i think he's calling for radical change in the direction the US is headed and, while i approve, many dont...not everyone who supports conservative points of view, or opposes chomsky's ideas, is a proto-fascist nut like the bush* cabal...so with deference to the many points of view that is supposed to be the main point of pride in this country, i call him radical...
