Remember all of those terror alerts just before ChimpCo started the war? |
|
They were practically non-stop a few weeks there - fighter jets everywhere! What a complete farce!! Once the Evil War Chimp was allowed to start his illegal blitzkrieg - all of these terror alerts magically disappeared! Riiiiiight! So Islamic terrorists were evidently pissed at the United States for dragging its feet and not promptly launching the war - (and were going to attack us here for it)- but once we started it and attacked - and have killed thousaunds of Muslims, killing more every day - and presently occupy an Islamic country - now all of these Islamic terrorists are happier with us - and are not as poised to attack us - hence the heightened terror threats have dramatically decreased!
Homeland Security Department, huh?!! What a complete crock of shit! Could it possibly be any more obvious that the thing is simply run by Karl Rove - providing diversionary cover whenever the evil White/Crack House feels it needs it?
Here's the simple formula: When the American public is "behaving" (i.e. doing what it is told - buying the fascist ChimpCo line) = less terror threats, with less threatening colors.
When the American public misbehaves (i.e. refusing to buy the fascist ChimpCo line - NOT doing what it is told, or demanding any records be released by Dick Cheney) = greatly increased terror threats, with far more threatening colors!!
I can't see how these stupid/ruthless pricks could possibly be more transparent! Surely there are at least a few Joe Six Packs out there who have made this clear association! If this alone doesn't expose the bullshit charade being conducted by this monstrous misadministration - I don't know what does!
Anybody else out there notice this?

1. The alerts decreased because |
|
every time they raised the alert level the states had to spend millions on extra security. With the financial situation that many of the individual states and the fact that the federal government was giving very little in the way of funding for homeland security measures, it became impossible. So whether the increased risk was real or imagined the feds had to stop with the terror alerts or the states were going to be bankrupted.

2. Since when did ChimpCo care about the welfare of any state? |
|
They don't seem to mind anyone going bankrupt - seem to actually prefer it.

19. they're afraid of the confrontation |
|
Several states said outright that they would no longer be able to comply with ORange Alert status. Orange Alert was never called again. We're stuck on Yellow Alert -- elevated.
Whistleass does not care if states go bankrupt -- I believe he wishes they would, especially states with Democratic or formerly Democratic leadership. However, his advisors probably don't wish to start a second Civil War quite just yet....

11. And the poll said we did not like them |
|
Now people said Clinton gov. by polls but this guy really does or karl does.Right now it is trying to back up and get into the top once more.Trouble is with Clinton the GOP dumped on him for 8 years, from the day he went into WH but they now cant take the dumping on Bush. And Bush did not gov what he said he would do when he ran. Now I did not believe him when he ran but and I think this is important, the people who voted for him did.Another thing it was easy to understand what Clinton did. It was a moral thing but Bush is doing odd political things and people look at that different. Wish I could put that into words better. But will use this, It is apples and oranges. What Bush is doing will cause this country pain for years here and over seas and out world standand etc. Clinton cheated on his wife, the same as Ted Kenney, it is one mans poor morals, not a world thing.

12. Do you remember in his campaign his constant talk of "Exit Strategy"? |
|
Edited on Wed Nov-05-03 03:10 PM by lovedems
and that he would never strike a country without first having an exit plan? A dem would be smart to run an ad and have that excerpt from all the different speeches where that was an issue and then show the poll that states americans don't think the chimp has a plan for Iraq.

15. This administration has given dems plenty of |
|
exploitable material. Let's see, where to begin. "I will restore honor and integrity to the WH", the whole flight suit/mission accomplished, The Texas Miracle and subesquent education funding (lack thereof), The Clean Air Act, and I am sure he said something about deficit spending. The best things the dems can do is to use *'s own words against him.

They are complete fascists and could care less about the opinions of any of their enslaved subjects!

Iraq who were fully capable of DESTROYING the United States - so much so that our chimp, er, pResident said that "it would be SUICIDE for America NOT to attack Iraq!" Truly a historic lie of Hitlerian proportions!!

21. Exactly, altdem. Happened to my agency. |
|
Keep raising the level, and all the responders have to spend so much extra money for overtime, etc., that they were howling and demanding the $$$ that idiot * promised the states in the first place. When it came to putting $$ where his mouth is, Bush backed down. No more rising alert levels. Jerk.

I think they're toning down the terror alerts for all those reasons. Especially now, while they're overtaxed in Iraq and tell the media how much they're giveing America the "bad news"
The Bush administration is nothing but a media circus.

6. I am sure the terror alerts will be back |
|
4 months before the election. We will probably hear stories of terrorist attempting to corrupt the elections process (hence making it easier for the chimp to steal), I am sure the troops will be home just in time to vote (regardless of the situation in Iraq), and I am sure talk of Syria and Iran will double. The attempt will be to scare us. There are SO MANY terrorists out there and YOU need to vote for the person who has experience in fighting the war on terror. I can see the next year perfectly because this administration no longer attempts to cover up their corruption and fear tactics.
