If wingers can threaten CBS why can't we boycott Clear Channel... |

over Limbaugh's return? He's a worse influence than some dopey fiction movie about Reagan.

1. Because they don't care |
|
These twits didn't care if the whole world knew they were blacklisting the Dixie Chicks. Arrogance personified.

5. Oh, and about the Dixie Chicks |
|
I bought their new album as a result of the boycott. It included a free DVD of the videos from the album. I've gotta say that their cover of Fleetwood Mac's Landslide is absolutely beautiful, as lovely as the original. The sound quality is a bit better on the CD. These gals can really play. Their singing is fine too. I think they should cover some more stuff, because their writing is not as good as the classic (but whose is?)

7. Because we don't buy any advertising is a potent reason. |
|
That why the downward slide of public broadcsating has been so painful to the left.

. . why not a prodicott?
Go ahead and listen to their programming - if you want to. Let them spend their money producing it. But listen to the ads to learn which products not to buy.
Then contact the producers and tell them which of their advertisers' products you are not going to buy. And be sure to cc the companies themselves.
i.e. why not use their product as much as you want - but then turn that against them in a way that will have to hurt
