"The quandary for Mr. Bush,
administration officials say, is in finding a balance: expressing sympathy for fallen soldiers without drawing more attention to the casualties by commenting daily on every new death."

I'd say it is quite a quandary. How does one express sympathy for those you've gotten killed while trying to make sure nobody notices?

Bastards.

1. Don't you know? Those deaths are a sign of our success.

3. Do you understand Bush speak?
I sure don't.

Is Bush afraid to be so moved he will cry in public or will he smirk... is that the problem?

4. No, he's really afraid of.....
Getting a nagging urge to play with a ball of yarn. Rumor has it that Unka Dick keeps one in his satchel for just such a PR emergency.

5. Love your signature line.
Scott, that's great.

Did anybody read that whole article? Bush doesn't want to "use" the funerals of our fallen soldiers as a PR stunt. Poleeese!

I'm going to refrain from calling him a bastard again, but I really, really want to.
