Edited on Thu Nov-06-03 05:30 AM by La_Serpiente
so I am putting a list of the Senators that voted for it and against it.

Democrats for it: Bayh, Biden, Breaux, Byrd, Dorgan, Johnson, Miller, Nelson, Pryor, Reid, Leahy (Why did he vote for it???? I thought he was in a Liberal state??/) Lincoln, Conrad, and Daschle. Both our minority leader and minority whip voted for it.

Now, here are the Republicans who voted against it:

Chafee, Collins, Snowe.

Why the hell are these Republicans still in the Republican party? Even Chafee. He is probably a liberal.

And who were the absent ones???

Edwards and Hutchinson.

Where was Edwards? Has he ever voted on a Abortion vote anyone?

Nevermind, I found Edwards record on abortion:

He voted NO on the Partial Birth Abortion Ban in 2001 I think.

So at least he has a record.

1. They're the 3 republicans
who are still moderate and haven't joined the right-wing fundie band wagon.

As for the dems, I want to puke. I saw Gephardt on hardball saying "I am against P.B.A's, but would not sign a bill that didn't give exceptions to women whose lives were in danger"

And yet the hypocritical bastard voted yes on the ban without exception...

WTFiznuck???
