1. The issue will be "healthy forests initiative"

I am home with a cold today, so I will call and go on hold.

Healthy forests:

Timber companies will be contracted to remove brush and forest understory which is considered to be a "fire hazard". The trees themselves are not considered to be a fire hazard.

The timber companies will not be paid cash, they will be paid by being allowed to take out prime trees that they will sell for cash. New roads will have to be cut into roadless areas.

I believe that this is a reversal of Clinton's ban on further road development in yet-uncut areas. (any comment?)

This is another heinous example of GOP/bush message control--labeling a tree-destruction plan as "healthy forests"

most of them are about forests.

She also talked about her political history and how she was a delegate to the Libertarian convention in 1980. There weren't any serious calls really. I mean, no one called about the mines and I wish there more serious questions.
