DUers running for office, post here please |
|
I keep a list of every DUer running for office on my blog, candidateswife.blogspot.com. I have a feeling my list is out of date.
If you are running for any office, at any level -- from sophomore class treasurer on up -- please let me know (and give me your Web site if you have one -- I'll include a name without a site if you want me to) so I can update my links list.
So far, I've got Charlie Crystle, Jeff Seemann, Andy Stephenson and Vince Whitacre.
Also, if you're currently holding office, let me know that, too.
Thanks!

I am sending this thread to Andy to make certain he sees it. Best of luck to your husband. I have been in your district many times (live in Chicago).

On edit: Andy is running for Washington Secretary of State.
I mean that district. No elected DUers in Chicago, so far as I know.
I am fine, except that I am at work. Don't feel like being here today, would rather be in my warm bed. How are you doing wndycty?

I grew up in Buffalo Grove myself, so I'm sure I've been in your district, too.

7. I believe so, unless redistricting changed it. |
|
I haven't lived there in 10 years. It is Republican hell, I should add. People who should know better -- they vote solely for their economic interests and forget everything else.

Hey Vince, once you rake your leaves, can you come over to Tosa and take care of mine?
:)

I take it you didn't either?
I think we need a Wisconsin DU gathering. But that's another thread, I guess...

11. Falling leaves are part of nature's cycle. |

It is our lawns that are the real nuisance.

15. I had a client once who told me.. |
|
Leaves are a "gift from God".. "He put them there on the ground, so let him take them away "..
His wife did not agree :)..
That was also his take on snow..
This was Chicago.. Lots of both :)

...Bilandic, was it?
Bilandic was mayor of Chicago and was beaten by Jane "Cabrini" Byrne because he couldn't get the snow cleared...
I was thinking about running for Pittsburgh School Board. Still unsure.
Later, JM

I seriously was considering VP in young dems but if it came down to it I wouldnt do it. For many reasons, I am shy(nothing to with below rabble but yes), "unelectable" you know my views I am pretty hardcore left and damn proud of it, too short lol ;) thats a joke because I am not and I base that on what people say about my presidential candiate, my last name is too ethnic lol.
