Fox News on Eagle Colorado Sheriff's Dept
Edited on Thu Nov-06-03 11:13 AM by candy331
Did anyone else hear about Fox news making such a stink over the Eagle
Colorado sheriff's dept purchasing t-shirts that said "hang the rapist" Kobe Bryant that the dept cancelled the order? ( read about it on another site) I was a bit surprised of hearing that this came from Fox news. No bashing on guilt/innocence please, just want to know did anyone hear or know info of this from Fox?

2. I don't watch that channel but
Google search only has hits from either faux or freeperville - so don't put mich stock in this story, yet.

3. This kind of thing goes on all over the place
In Kern County, CA there were two instances.

In one, two decal were printed up for the cop cars. The regular Sheriff's car decal said "We Kick Ass", the K-9 car decal said "We Bite Ass". Someone took pictures of the cars with the decals, and all holy hell broke loose. To make matters worse, the Sheriff lied about the circumstances of the incident.

In the other instance, a Sheriff substation gave a stuffed seal cub colored with red paint to the officer who last beat a suspect.

The Kern County sheriff's office is well known in the area for its gratuitous violence towards suspects, especially minorities.

There should be a stink raised about this. Totally inappropriate.
