on his last Hardball appearance. He's really improving as a candidate. The first time he went on, on the Hardball College tour, Matthews slapped him around. But last time he seemed to approach Matthews as an opposing lawyer, and Edwards frequently went on the attack ("No. You let ME finish"). It was an excellent performance IMO.. he completely beat back Tweety. I didn't think Edwards had it in him. It was great revenge for that first appearance, which was awful.. cringe inducing where I almost felt sorry for Edwards.
