2. DU is first
Because I know there will be a discussion about breaking news and
otherwise also. Then I go to the source and follow the story.
I also love Buzzflah.

7. My faves...
I made a webpage with links to all my favorite news and opinion sites. I check Democratic Underground, Google News and The Guardian regularly throughout the day. I also read the Washington Post and local papers daily.

I have to give Common Dreams a closer look. They regularly publish Seattle's Geov Parrish, who is actually a major media whore. I wrote to them about this once, but they never responded. But I'll give it another try and see what happens.

DU is kind of a lazy on my part--but I really do appreciate all the links everyone provides. It saves me the trouble of sifting through the news I'm NOT interested in. So thanks to all who post in LBN!

because they frequently have really good op-eds by excellent writers that are not usually published by the larger "alternative mainstream" online news sites.
