NEW YORK, Nov. 6 — In a ruling that could have coast-to-coast effect, a federal judge Thursday blocked the government’s new ban on so-called “partial-birth abortions,” the second court victory for abortion rights advocates since President Bush signed the law.

At least thats what I just heard it on CNN. Decision covers the entire US. I was busy and had it on in the background & didn't pay that much attention to whatever else they said.

I was under the (mis?)impression that the first court victory was the one in S.F., but if it wasn't and we do have a 3rd, that is excellent.
