Clark is a religious smorgasbord
Heard him on NPR today, and while I don't have a horse in this race yet, I was pretty impressed with his answers to fairly difficult questions.

But man, do I have it right? IIRC, he has one parent who's Jewish, the other's a Baptist, he was raised Catholic, but attends Presbyterian?

1. Makes him more ecumenical, doesn't it.
Glad you figured that out. I agree that this makes him a more appealing candidate.

3. A very well rounded guy
I think it's pretty great - I didn't know he attended Presbyterian. I think this is quite interesting though. Of course the right wing will say he couldn't make up his mind. I like Clark.

5. Close
Natural father was Jewish. He died when Wes was 4. Mom returned to Little Rock. Wes was asked by his mom to choose a Church. He picked the one with the pretty stained glass windows, which was Baptist. He converted to Catholicism in Vietnam but goes to Presbyterian Church. I think he described himself as "Eccumenical" in the interview.

I think it's kind of cool that he's not dogmatic in his beliefs.

6. Almost
Raised Baptist, Converted to Catholicism, attends Presbyterian.

At least that's what he said in the Planned Parenthood Debate the other day. :)

Maybe all that (religious smorsgasbord) has subconsciously made him that way.

8. Cool.
I'm Presby. My minister who writes all the great liberal "question authority" letters to the editor is Presby.
