Is Jessica Lynch is a traitor?

She isn't supporting the army and her fellow soldiers. Her job as a soldier is to follow orders and not question her superiors. If they say 'jump', you say 'how high?'. If they say 'kill', you say 'how dead?'.

All I can think is that she is no longer a hero, she's now an enemy of the Bush administration and therefore, America.

right?

so her opinions are those of a private citizen. And second, why do you perpetuate the fiction that a modern soldier's job is to blindly follow orders without question? If anything was learned from the Nuremburg Tribunals it is that a soldier's primary responsibility is to be true to the dictates of his own conscience. Therefore, all assertions to the contrary, and especially that soldiers and citizens should never question the uses to which they are put, perpetuates the concept that the individual is not responsible for his actions, and gives succor to those who place the State over the individual.

That said, elperomagico has characterized her purpose well: She was abused and used and what she says now can be conveniently ignored.
