Dumbya's plan for Democracy in the Middle East
While idiot boy compares post war Iraq to post war Japan, he needs to also consider Afghanistan and the former Soviet Union. We can not "threaten" countries into being democracies. And if we try, we will bankrupt our country. This is another clue that shrub intends to do away with public education and Social Security by bankrupting the systems.

Also, I have read that Muslims banks and banking systems do not charge interest on loans. If we try to sell democracy and our economic values to people whose religions are against big parts of our economic system, they'll resist even more.

1. Especially not when Imperial Amerika has no moral authority anymore
on the subject of functional democracy.

This, as usual, is an Orwellian Totalitarian lie. It sounds funny, but then the Old Soviet Union often used the term "democracy" in a similar lying manner to justify tyranny.

It just sounds so weird coming as it does from our own shores, but we should get used to it.

Lies and truth have very little meaning in Imperial Amerika.

3. He was also trying to sound like JFK
with the "let this be heard from Tehran to" wherever

I am so sick of the propoganda of this administration and the long term damage they are wreaking on our reputation and standing around the world.

4. A quote from Bush
"Sixty years of Western nations excusing and accommodating the lack of freedom in the Middle East did nothing to make us safe. In the long run, stability cannot be purchased at the price of liberty."

Sure it can, George! Things were an awful lot more stable over there before they had "liberty."

And never mind that he doesn't seem to have any trouble trading our "liberty" for "stability," if that's what you want to call the state of things here.
