Haynutty nervous about receiving stolen property?
Heard Haynutty least night talking to Orrin Hatch. Hanutty was trying to corner Hatch into saying Senator Rockefeller should be held responsible. Hatch all but told Haynutty that he did not understand these things, that Senator Rokefeller has unquestionable respect and honor, Haynutty could not even begin to understand the concepts. haynutty actualley asked if he were called to a comittee would Orrin protect him! First of all it will be a legal proceeding for receiving stolen property and interstate crime(faxing). Secondly hanutty is so out of it that he thinks he can play in the same league as these masters of politics.

1. His Ego Knows No Bounds And He Thinks He's Invincible.
Hey Insean, ask Martha Stewart how much her public support and money (she has tons more of both)has helped here. She has been destroyed and hasn't spent one minute behind bars.

2. Did Hannity know it was stolen? Aren't leaked papers always
"stolen"? I'm not holding my breath that Hannity is going down over this.

3. I heard that interview
It made me laugh. Like most conservatives, Hannity has a persecution complex. He is just trying to sound like a martyr for his audience. Listening to him, you would think that Rockefeller is planning a McCarthy-style witch hunt.

Even for him, this is hyperbole. The unsigned memo says nothing. Heck, the first paragraph of the memo states that they want to work within the rules of the committee!

This entire flap is a great case-study in how the right spins a non-issue into a story.

Question: Are any major television outlets covering this? (I don't own a television.)

6. It's The SpinPoint...Negates Wilsongate
That's the whole deal here...and it's so obvious why isn't it being really screamed out.

This is right out of the Enron cover-up handbook...come up with a counter-scandal that is blown up to sound as big as the real scandal and everyone gets sick of both. Then WhittleAss comes back in 6 months and says how he stopped the leaking. Book it.

Yep...all the whores are jumping on this one...Tweety, Beedy-Eyed Scarborough and I dare to venture to Faux...guaranteed it will be on all the "week-in-review" shows this weekend and on the Sunday yappers.

The GOOP has it's machine in high gear already and Hannity is one of many who will leak lies to see which have "legs"...this one looks like it'll have legs...and that's the same, since it's intention is to totally obscure the outting of a CIA agent responsible for finding a justification for an illegal invasion.

4. backpedaling
wow, Haynutty's really easily spooked. Surely he must know by now that prisons are for black drug offenders. As far as credibility is concerned, who really cares, you think that Joe Sixpack watches Haynutty because he's credible? And oh the martyrdom of Haynutty, he is the mafiosi Christ-figure, dragging the cross, ever-bearing the lashes of the "Bush-haters'" whips.

5. SHADES OF WATERGATE
Who were the "plumbers" that fished the memo out of the wastebasket? Sounds like what started the investigation into watergate. Breaking and entering. They didn't get caught this time, but sooner or later they will since they tend to repeat their mistakes instead of repenting.
