White House Puts Limits on Queries From Democrats
By Dana Milbank
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, November 7, 2003; Page A29

The Bush White House, irritated by pesky questions from congressional Democrats about how the administration is using taxpayer money, has developed an efficient solution: It will not entertain any more questions from opposition lawmakers.

5. I love this line..."scholars say it's highly unusual"
Not unusual if you lived in Marcos' Phillipines!

Nothing to see here. Just your standard Emperor showing his weakened and usewless Imperial Senate who is actually in unchecked power and control...

6. I choked on my coffee.........
when I heard that! jeeeezzzzz!!! What has happened to democracy in America and WHEN will the people awaken from their slumber? I fear it will be too late when the alarm clock finally goes off. Isn't it ironic that bush keeps yelling 'bout democracy in the ME, yet doesn't want it here in America? Maybe someday the Iraqis will come here to save us all from bush and try to put democracy in America.
