The Hillary 9/11 conspiracy theory
In a great example of conservative "you have no chance" logic, someone I used to debate with told me at one point that, after 9/11, it was decided that the dems wouldn't seriously (hillary) challenge the GOP, that * would get the 8 years and then the GOP would lay down for Hillary in '08. Of course I think this is hogwash, exp. since I love Dean but has anyone else heard this? Thoughts?

1. The GOP
They are terrified of Hillary. Why do you think they keep attacking her.

2. Why would anyone agree to such a thing?
To give up power for 8 years for a "gentlemans agreement" is ridiculous!! As if anyone would honor that sort of arrangement - Especially the GOP.

3. I read on some conspiracy site that.....
The presidents are chosen twenty years in advance by either the bilderbergers or some other shadowy too-powerful sect. I also read that Bill Clinton was given a shot at the presidency by Ollie North in exchange for letting North's buddies use an airstrip in Mena, Arkansa to run cocaine in and out of the country. Who knows? I take all conspiracy theories with a belly full of salt...but they're fascinating nonetheless.
