Debating it with a pug and he thinks there's a provision for the mother's life. I've looked at senate.gov (http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c108:1:./temp/~c108Lf2pmI::) and house.gov (http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c108:5:./temp/~c108Us3u25::)and it seems like the senate version had the provision but that the final version had the provision stripped. Is that correct?

let's not get into it. There have been D&X procedures every year since the procedure was developed. Almost always for the benefit of the mother. We;ve had this discussion already. This isn't a good place for it.

They must not ban it. Not just because it will result in increased danger for the woman, but the principle of not letting government practice medicine.

I know what D&X is, and I've heard the term Late term abortion.

Is it time for me to go out and buy The Dictionary of the Religious Right so that I can understand what even liberals are saying, or do you think we can avoid letting them control the language of the debate in the future?
