Debating it with a pug and he thinks there's a provision for the mother's life. I've looked at senate.gov ( http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c108:1:./temp/~c108Lf2pmI::) and house.gov ( http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?c108:5:./temp/~c108Us3u25::)and it seems like the senate version had the provision but that the final version had the provision stripped. Is that correct?

There is no such thing in the medical literature. It is a fiction created by the RW and the anti-choice crusaders.
On edit: Hey, Hep! We're obviously on the same wavelength here. Jinx. :hi:

let's not get into it. There have been D&X procedures every year since the procedure was developed. Almost always for the benefit of the mother. We;ve had this discussion already. This isn't a good place for it.
They must not ban it. Not just because it will result in increased danger for the woman, but the principle of not letting government practice medicine.

5. What is partial birth abortion? |
|
I can't find it in medical literature.
I know what D&X is, and I've heard the term Late term abortion.
Is it time for me to go out and buy The Dictionary of the Religious Right so that I can understand what even liberals are saying, or do you think we can avoid letting them control the language of the debate in the future?

10. I suppose one could argue that all abortion is "partial birth". |
