Target CNN: "Ex-POW" Jessica Lynch
CNN Is promoting next week's Larry King interview with, as they call it, "Ex-POW" Jessica Lynch.

There is no evidence that Lynch was ever held against her will.

Contact CNN now and demand that they promote Jessica Lynch's story factually.

5. Actually, he isn't joking...
...Shoshana Johnson was a POW, Pfc Lynch was a patient, and from all indications a rather well-treated one at that, at an Iraqi hospital. She wasn't a POW. They tried to return her to US forces, but were shot at.

7. actually it is in dispute
The Iraqi hospital staff claim they tried to return her to the Americans, but their ambulance was shot at. Sure, they could be lying. But we KNOW the Pentagon lies, so....

15. Oh, Gawd
"Sure, they could be lying. But we KNOW the Pentagon lies, so...."

We certainly know the Iraqis lie, also. We also know the condition she was found in, having not been fed for days.

18. Jessica Confirmed That The Iraqi's Put Her In An Ambulance & Tried To Retu
rn her.

Who's to say she was "captured"? Maybe after the attack, she was left for dead, then rescued by Iraqi's who took her to the hospital.

8. Huh?
Of course she was a POW. A lot of her original story was hype but there is no doubt she was captured and held.

10. Whether "POW" is the correct term or not
I hope that she gets a chance to tell her story on as many media outlets as possible. If you haven't noticed, she just may be the most effective critic of BFEE/Media manipulation to have emerged from the Iraq war.

Good luck getting the media to stop promoting it any damn way they please. But I advise against attempting to quash her and her story. She is not the pawn the Pentagon thought they had. West Virginia seems to breed some courageous souls.

12. She was promoted as America's darling and a instigator
of our hatred for the Iraqi's who would dare to harm our darling. It worked. She is treated like a princess while at the same time a true American hero Shoshana Johnson is treated.

14. That's a losing approach. Might as well just go spit on some troops
Why not do something constructive instead like bash Bush for starting a war that continues to cost lives for no reason.

16. it makes no sense
if there's a dispute about her status, then it's a technical thing that doesn't have any real meaning.
