The Bush* Boom
Is that the sound-bite we will be hearing from now til election? The only Boom I know of is on top of little Iraqi Children. When they hear Boom it may be the last sound they hear. How are we to respond to Bush* Boom?

1. Since bush* gets all credit for this alleged boom....
...when it goes sour, he can take the responsibility too.

I'll believe "boom" when I see three consecutive quarters of job-supporting growth.

As for the recent numbers, bush's handlers are walking him out on this limb real early, IMHO. Must be trying to pump up the fundraiser lunches or something. If the growth doesn't improve, tremendously, over the next year, bush* is setting himself up for a tough sell.

What worries me is he has the campaign money to make that sell.

3. He has the propaganda infrastructure to sell 1 + 1 = 3
Goebbels v2.0 -- raw power to tranform lies into "conventional wisdom".

2. .....
There will be no boom. If there is any growth, don't let anyone tell you it's the tax cuts. Economy.com said that the cuts accounted for .9 of thr 7.2% growth, which means, in non-annualized terms, about $8 billion in growth. How much did the cuts cost?
