2. Yup, Randi Rhodes was in DC the other day and mentioned this

exact same thing. No verbal answers to Dems w/ questions. She said the situation in DC is deplorable...much worse than she thought and there were "things" she couldn't talk about.

She did have good success in lobbying for a liberal talk show media to counter the plethora of RW radio shows. Hope it works out.

parents! do you want your children to be successful? well the only examples of success that are seen and talked about are by wingers. why should they not want to emulate rummy, rice, cheney, norton, bennet, north? turn on the t.v. or radio, and these people are called are shining examples of success in this blessed country.

...and, no, Salinen, I don't see those folks you mention get off without criticism except on Fux news....which is, as you know, no real news program at all, but just the media outlet for the extremist right wing in this country.

But the criticism is not strong enough, and the dangers to our democracy are not being made clear enough on t.v.

Bush deserves a special place in hell, along with other enemies of democracy. He talks the talk but he doesn't walk the walk. Same with his religious posturing.

but some people in this country apparently aren't strong enough to deal with honesty and complexity and therefore they support Bush...sort of like a bunch of apes who willingly castrate themselves for their designated alpha.
