Fellow Dems, unite now, if just for tonite- write CBS
Scanning the CBS News site i stumbled onto this.

Howard Dean Noses Ahead

and the story begins as this:

"Howard Dean did something amazing this week. The tough, abrasive politician did a 180 and apologized for causing pain. He’s starting to sound as wimpy as those losing liberal Democrats he’s often associated with."

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/11/07/opinion/lynch/main582532.shtml

What? Are they trying to be Fox now? If you are sick of the abuse, if you are sick of being bullied by these idiots day after day, write these bums.

First they bow on the Reagan movie, then they allow low life enquirer journalists to trash all our candidates. But St Ronnie rules?

Regardless of who you are for in this election. Give them some hell.

1. "Losing" liberals?
Edited on Sat Nov-08-03 01:37 AM by Cleita
Is Ann Coulter so desparate for a job that she's doing copy for CBS? I just thought I'd ask. It's a typical adjective she would use in front of the word liberal.

Everyone has been going after the Fox viewers for quite a while now, so I'm not at all suprised. I don't read their website though, so this may be par for the course.

3. Here was my response to Snotty Dotty...
"Well, well, Dotty...

If you think Dean sounds like "those losing liberal Democrats he’s often associated with", I guess you're sounding exactly like those rightwing Nazi goose-steppers that my Dad fought against in WWII.

I'm also guessing that Dean is starting to worry people like you. Good. I don't personally know which Democrat for whom I intend to vote, but you can bet it won't be for the guy that lost the 2000 election but won the Supreme Court vote."

5. I wrote them, here's my response
This is in regards to your article "Howard Dean Noses Ahead." You made a comment about Dean as being "as wimpy as those losing liberal Democrats he's often associated with."

What has happened to the integrity that CBS once had. I did not write when you cancelled the Ronald Reagan mini-series but you have gone to far. You shamefully caved to the political pressure from the right over this movie and you know it. This is probably understandable since Viacom will need the support of congress to become even more of a media hog. Oh touchy subject, let's not go there. You have absolutely no problem in insulting democratic candidates, however. It seems to be the popular trend these days to beat up on democrats. I've had enough personally. As of today I will no longer watch programs on your network with the exception of 60 minutes, the only bright spot in the dim despicable black hole that is today's media. There's already one dedicated conservative news outlet we don't need two. Get it together.

Sincerely,
Fedup

6. I'm glad you wrote.
I basically wrote the same thing. I'm sick of the abuse the media and the right wing assholes are giving to the liberals and Democrats. With that article, they awoke a sleeping giant, which is me.
