9. I've actually met her

She lives near me and I started talking to her outside a local video store about our dogs. She was dressed in work clothes, like she just got done hanging wallpaper or something, and I didn't even recognize her at first. She was actually very friendly and not as snobby as she comes off. But her husband, the director Mike Nichols, who looks a little like Captain Hooke with eyeshadow, was sitting in the car bitching at her to "Come on." She actually seemed very sad and lonely. Trapped in her life style.

Diane Sawyer, the integrity vampire, keeps interviewing people of honor and somehow, for some bizarre reason, none of their integrity ever brushes off on her. Why is that? Is it because Diane Sawyer gave up what little self-respect and dignity she had a long, long time ago?
