Cartoon on the back page of Time Magazine Nov 10 |

If you get a chance, take a look at it. It certainly indicates the possibility of a shift in the wind direction.

2. Okay, I'll give it a shot. |

The cartoon is a multi-panel full-page spread. The titles is, "The Bush Flight Suit Walks into a Bar..." and then the subtitle is, "He needs a drink--and the chance to tell his side of the story"
It's a conversation between *'s flight suit and other walking, talking articles of clothing. At one point, after lamenting that he (the flight suit) was "all set to be the star of as many TV commercials as a $200 million campaign war chest can buy..." the suit declaims that "now that major hostilities haven't exactly ceased, it looks as if is headed for mothballs."
It's almost surrealistic, and it definitely has an unmistakable mocking tone. I haven't kept up with Time for quite a while, so I'm not sure how they've been spinning this whole ugly * mess.

read Time or Newsweek and may not get any other real indepth news, so I think this is a positive. I only get to see either one, online, but it does seem that both have been going at the Bushies since things turned south in Iraq, the obvious lack of justification for the war, etc. I hope it continues;;;;
