Oh yeah, and I hope you saw Howard Zinn, author of "A People's History of the United States", on C-Span 2 earlier. Magnificent!

1. Shameless kick...
and wanted to add ... if you didn't catch Howard Zinn's appearance, that it was really eye-opening hearing him talk about Vietnam.

He said that then, as now, the politicians were saying, and the journalists were echoing, the same kind of hooey about how we couldn't just 'cut and run'. He mentioned several other parallels, as well.

If I can't find a transcript of that, I might just type one up myself!
