Worldnetdaily Washington Bureau Chief goes from Bush Poodle to Pit Bull
Edited on Sun Nov-09-03 06:41 AM by dutchdemocrat
This is an interesting political shift from Paul Sperry, Washington Bureau Chief of Joseph Farah's predominantly right wing Worldnetdaily.com.

On one hand I respect Farah for keeping Sperry on, despite his 180 on Bush, on the other hand, he is not giving Sperry much white space to print on allowing only ten editorials since June... not much for the publication's Washington chief. Sperry really despises the Bush administration now... that is quite clear. And below the article you can see some more links on Arab American, Farah's political agenda.

I really wonder why the second article never got any legs. It seems there's enough proof there for impeachment if you ask me. This article send the Freepers into a tailspin when there 'beloved' worldnetnews.com published it.

Bush's flawless convention

WASHINGTON -- Overlooked in all the wailing, loudest among conservatives, over the GOP's Clintonesque stagecraft in Philly is George W. Bush's impressive leadership skills.

Show me a strong leader and I'll show you someone who has the discipline to stick to a plan, no matter the opposition and bad reviews. I'll also show you someone who can motivate people to carry out that plan.

Bush kept all his people on message for four straight days -- and it paid off. This is no small accomplishment.

Not one Republican left the reservation, not for a moment -- not even John McCain. No one provided the media with a "mean-spirited" or "extremist" sound bite. No memorable gaffes. No embarrassing slip-ups. No one even ran over their allotted speaking time.

This doesn't happen by accident. No sleepy-eyed frat boy could have pulled off such an uneventful -- and successful -- event, one that gave the Bush campaign a 13-point bounce while denying the liberal media jackals any red meat to chew on going into the final leg of the race.

Yes, Bush lied

WASHINGTON – A year ago, on Oct. 1, one of the most important documents in U.S. history was published and couriered over to the White House.

The 90-page, top-secret report, drafted by the National Intelligence Council at Langley, included an executive summary for President Bush known as the "key judgments." It summed up the findings of the U.S. intelligence community regarding the threat posed by Iraq, findings the president says formed the foundation for his decision to preemptively invade Iraq without provocation. The report "was good, sound intelligence," Bush has remarked.

Most of it deals with alleged weapons of mass destruction.

But page 4 of the report, called the National Intelligence Estimate, deals with terrorism, and draws conclusions that would come as a shock to most Americans, judging from recent polls on Iraq. The CIA, Defense Intelligence Agency and the other U.S. spy agencies unanimously agreed that Baghdad:

had not sponsored past terrorist attacks against America,

was not operating in concert with al-Qaida,

and was not a terrorist threat to America.

"We have no specific intelligence information that Saddam's regime has directed attacks against U.S. territory," the report stated.
