Hypothetically
If Clark is nominated, do you think world diplomats and journalists will jump on the bandwagon, speaking writing about visions of a humble, peaceful, more likable US? Will the locals pay attention? Care?

1. Are you crazy?
No, I do not think you are crazy :freak: I don't think this is just going to be a national effort -- this will be an international effort. I think the world will display their views in a sincere way that shows how the world really thinks of the US.

I really do.

4. Me too
as I posted awhile back, when Big Dog was in office, the 30 million or so Limbeciles in the US hated the president, and the entire rest of the world loved him. Now the 30M Dittiots love the president, and the rest of the world hates him. I have to believe that the world's people will have a difficult time hiding their feelings about a possible regime change in the greatest nation on Earth.

2. They might
but they should be careful. the American people do not like foreign interference with their elections anymore than any other people do. I might backfire, escpecially as the American people will know that foreign leaders have their own country's interests in mind, not America's.

3. with nothing but gut reaction/instinct to go on
I would say that the world diplomats/journalists will jump on the band wagon... Clark strikes a good contrast

the locals (I'm assuming you mean our media) - they will be on the band wagon for awhile, until the GOP machine kicks into gear and starts dictating and "our" media reverts back to just taking the dictation.

If by locals you mean the average American voter - different story - we are still very evenly divided, and I think most have already made up their minds. On one side you have the goosestepping GOPers that will vote for Baghdad Bush no matter what, on the other side there are those that will vote for a moldy bagel before they would vote for Baghdad Bush

The question is - are there more goosestepping GOPers than Moldy bagel voters?
