I think the Dem candidates have been set up by the "liberal" media
in more ways than one. Somebody here already mentioned that people like Russert use a double standard to grill Dem candidates vs. letting CONs slide.

But beyond that, it's almost a running joke on shows like Hannity and Leno and in political forums that nobody knows who the candidates are. It seems to me they've been relegated to near obscurity by the media. Few have been given the air time that, say, Clinton was given when he ran the first time. Even when debates are held, they're not advertised, and they're not alway on major networks. I won't even go into the moderation of the debates themselves.

The media is being used as a tool to make candidates (and Dems in general) appear weak and ineffective by taking away their voice and by not providing balanced coverage.

5. 9 candies
why are we not supposed to know who they are? maybe scott peterson gets more air time than the 9. maybe it's a way the "liberal media" dehumanizes these folks. 9 nobodies huh? now that conservs have bought, murdered, lied, and now own the voice, the one party system prevails. that means to me that we are left with only one option. REVOLT OR DIE!

3. I agree. I think they have to portray them all incorrectly
so they can control the outcome for their corporate masters and BushInc.

6. absolutely set up! funny how there are so many photos of all of them...
...together.

This is no coincidence.

Can you imagine running the image of Ghandhi next to 8 other activists? And have this image repeated over and over?

His ideas would no doubt be diluted.

The media is keenly aware of the power of the images they present.

7. You hardly ever see them apart
And some you hear nothing from at all...like Carol Moseley Braun for instance. The few who make it out of the pack (Dean and Clark) are being demonized. I don't know who to vote for because of all the dirt slinging around those two. But I realize that this is exactly what the "liberal" media wants. Unfortunately, it's working.
