2. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Burn in hell Bush! We don't like you!
Most encouraging is that our head-to-head matchups are all very close with Clark the closest, but not by much. I really want to stop hearing electability arguments from now on.

5. cold water on you
While I "rate this survey" with two BIG thumbs up, I still feel the need to splash some cold water on you. Wait here while I go get my bucket.

(very long pause; sound of shoes clopping across studio floor; shoes returning at a slower pace; sound of water splashing followed by Zynx screaming "AAIIEEEEEEeee... . . !!")

We still need to talk about electibility here. For all the good news coming in about the electorate coming to see thru Bush & the media's blanket of denial, this is still George Bush's election to lose. He's tracked so far toward the cliff that any moderation in his Iraq/terrorism policy will be seen as him "correcting the course."

His publicity machine is fully staffed and in excellent working order. Middle America still thinks he's the cat's pajamas. They are still waiting for Dean's nomination before they kick the gay marriage attack into gear... expect it and expect to be hurt by that one, no matter where you stand on "civil partnerships".

The economy is doing better, so he can plausibly (if erroneously) argue that his tax cuts did the trick. I personally know three people who have just gotten employed after many months of being on the skids. Two of them are working in Iraq-contract jobs--one over seas, so I'll be praying for him. Overall we can expect the unemployment rate to drop to 4-5% by November 04 and the under-employment rate to be, as usual, completely ignored.

These are the critical factors that will sway voters. The ability to control or temper his errors is entirely in Bush's hands. I hope we'll win, but I expect another 48-48 race with Ralph tilting the Electoral College in Bush's direction again.
